An unusual 18ct wedding band from innovative German manufactory Niessing.
The Meander ring is composed of 18ct grey gold with a fleece matt finish on the surface and polished finish on the edges. The ring is forged as one ring then the cut-through is cut by laser. The two parts are mobile but the ring does not come apart. A fine example of Niessing's technological and intelligent design process.
The Meander ring is 9mm wide, and is also available to order in yellow gold, and in a variety of different interlocking shapes.

A German company who are responsible for some of the biggest innovations in contemporary jewellery design. Niessing devised the Tension Ring, employing a method of setting a diamond in a band of precious metal using only the tension of the metal. They have since developed ingenious “colour gradient” 18ct gold alloys. Niessing now offer a wide selection of rings, bangles, necklaces, earrings and even strikingly designed watches. All Niessing pieces are hand-forged in a manufactory setting.
